Welcome to our mountain hiking paradise!

The summer and autumn seasons offer a wonderful variety where you choose the month according to what you are looking for.

Grövelsjöfjällen offers fantastic nature experiences and great opportunities for hiking, cycling and fishing. From the courtyard and up to the mountain, you have about 10 minutes on foot. The area is known for its variety and here there are excursion destinations that suit everyone, depending on what you want. The hotel is located at 804 m.a.s.l. which gives you a mountain feeling as soon as you come to us!

Each month offers its own special beauty. July offers lovely greenery and bright evenings & nights where you can use both day and night for cozy nature experiences. With August comes the berries. If you are here at the right time, you can find a lot of berries, not least the gooseberry, the gold of the forest. The air gets a little more humid and the evenings a little darker. High coziness factor. September offers colors. The air feels "high and clean" and the mountain "burns" in a color symphony of yellow, red and orange. A really lovely hiking month.

Fishing

In Grövelsjöfjällen you will find "fishing with a view" - a breathtaking view wherever you look. Here you can find both trout, char and grayling in streams, ponds and calm rivers. Despite very good conditions, the area is still relatively unused. Take a full day of char fishing in Hävlingen, maybe spend the night at the small fishing camp next to the lake? Or why not a trip over to the fine waters on the Norwegian side. For those of you who want a guided fishing trip, on your own or in a group, there is that possibility. Contact us at Lövåsgården for more information.
