The summer and autumn seasons offer a wonderful variety where you choose the month according to what you are looking for. Grövelsjöfjällen offers fantastic nature experiences and great opportunities for hiking, cycling and fishing. From the courtyard and up to the mountain, you have about 10 minutes on foot. The area is known for its variety and here there are excursion destinations that suit everyone, depending on what you want.
The hotel is located at 804 m.a.s.l. which gives you a mountain feeling as soon as you come to us! Each month offers its own special beauty.
July offers lovely greenery and bright evenings & nights where you can use both day and evening for cozy nature experiences. With August comes the berries. If you are here at the right time, you can find a lot of berries, not least the gooseberry, the forest's gold. The air gets a little more humid and the evenings a little darker. High coziness factor. September offers colors. The air feels "high and clean" and the mountain "burns" in a color symphony of yellow, red and orange. A really lovely hiking month.
For those who are interested in fishing, the area offers fine fishing waters, both running and lakes and ponds. The hotel is located in "Gränslandet", which means that you are at the Norwegian border in about 15 minutes by car. This gives you the opportunity to visit the Norwegian side, which opens up new landscapes and exciting excursion destinations.

You stay comfortably at the hotel with full board. You start the day with a good breakfast buffet. You pack lunch in a packed lunch from the breakfast table and the day ends with a three-course dinner in the evening. Remember the thermos, which we fill for you with the packed lunch.
After a day on the mountain, it can be nice to have a relaxing bath. Here you will find our hot tub under the open sky as well as men & women's sauna inside. We can also recommend a good book, or a board game in front of the fire down in the cottage, not so silly after a long day!
During the period 29/6 - 18/8, you can choose to stay with B&B, if you wish to stay overnight.
